The aquarium is a short 2 minute walk away. Home to one of the oldest sea turtles, Myrtle, she is said to be around 95 years old!
Right outside the aquarium is the dock for all of the whale watching tours, as well as a starting point for the famous Boston duck Tours. Hopefully the weather (and whales) will cooperate with you while you are visiting.
Located just about 10-15 minutes away (walking) is Boston's historic North End. If you find yourself in need of some "authentic" Italian food, or a sweet treat take a walk over to the north end.
Here you'll find the famous pastry trio: Mike's Pastry, Modern Pastry, and Bova's Bakery. Feel free to taste test them all and tell us what you think! There is clearly one winner. Don't forget to bring cash with you.
Some of our favorite restaurants found here are: Lucca (don't skip the espresso martini), Trattoria Il Panino, Isabella, and Limoncello.
Should you desire a fresh breakfast sandwich in the morning, we recommend heading over to Sunny Girl, about a 10 minute walk north along the water. They bake fresh English muffins every morning!
